NAME

dvmrpctl — control the DVMRP routing daemon

SYNOPSIS

dvmrpctl command [argument ...]

DESCRIPTION

The dvmrpctl program controls the dvmrpd(8) daemon. Commands may be abbreviated to the minimum unambiguous prefix; for example, s s for show summary.

The following commands are available:

log brief: Disable verbose debug logging.
log verbose: Enable verbose debug logging.
show igmp: Show IGMP status for all interfaces.
show interfaces [interface]: Show details for all interfaces or the specified interface.
show mfc [detail]: Show the Multicast Forwarding Cache. detail can be specified for additional detail.
show neighbor [detail]: Show neighbors. detail can be specified for additional detail.
show rib [detail]: Show the Routing Information Base. detail can be specified for additional detail.
show summary: Show summary information.

FILES

/var/run/dvmrpd.sock: Unix-domain socket used for communication with dvmrpd(8).

HISTORY

The dvmrpctl program first appeared in OpenBSD 4.0.
